There are some utilities that help you navigate through those so-called "common dialog" windows.
In case you forget to do Alt+C first, they might come in handy.

I have used PathCopy to do this for several years, but this tip would save me some mousing...

Outlook also understands Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V on files.
