What about a different player association then wmp? is it possible or not? |

| Yes, I'd like to associate VLC or The KMPlayer. Both come with a lot of extra codecs. Then there's the external codec pack called K-lite Mega pack, which enables both of them to play almost anything. |

| sorry, each player has it's own I/O protocol but xplorer2 only knows to talk to WMP. |

Some flvs still don't play. I didn't update ffdshow though, I have an older version that works fine and I've learned to mess as little as possible with working codecs.
BTW, even KMPlayer refuses to play all flvs these days, I recommend Bitcomet flv player for those. |
