|

i have to vent my frustration somewhere and i was thinking of a special blog full of swearing, but i can't be bothered that much
don't ever use ryanair.com, the "low cost airline" that is low until you have to call them or carry any bags with you. Who heard of £10 charge per bag, no minimum? And I told them that i have no checked luggage (i travel light), they made me pay a fiver anyway for "online check-in"
as it turns out that £5 was down the drain too since i am travelling with another guy who has bugs to check in (WTF?) and i can't use the service -- so why did they offer it in the first place?
try calling them to complain, £1/minute, and half an hour useless recorded messages "for my safety and comfort"
f@kin idiots!?
never ever fly with ryanair ever
poor me there's no other direct flight from london to graz
(*%&)(*@@@@><M><M&£%"^V |

A quick search shows you are not alone:
http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews2293.html
While a minority of fliers were satisfied with the level of service for the price, the consensus seems to be "I would not recommend using this airline to anyone. I definitely will not be using Ryanair unless I have absolutely no other choice!"
PS - considering the hellish experiences being reported and the risk of being stranded ... what's so bad about a connection through Frankfurt on a proper airline? |

OK ... so they are your preferred choice now!
Let us know how you really feel about it after your trip. |

I would lend you my private Gulfstream G5 but I haven't ordered it yet
I feel your pain. I hate commercial air travel. I used to travel a lot in a former career as an investment banker. 1984 was my peak year with over 130 flights. I still have several hundred thousand frequent flyer miles from the 1980s that I have never used, and because they are from the dawn of frequent flyer programs they never expire.
Nowadays, I try to move electrons rather than my body to communicate for business. Email and video conferencing via Skype works great.
The only flying I relish is with a friend who is a pilot and owns his own small plane. We fly up to Northern New England from a private airport here in Southern New England, and back. It is like riding in a minivan with wings. |
